If the CP does not respond to F983, it won't work on the browser either. The CP must be fully functional for any programming interface to work. You MUST be connected to a working compatible system and port 1 and system ready lights must be on.

Do you mean VAD if the lights come on and stay on, it is a bad pws? Did you hear that from ITAS or just noted it as you seen it that way a few times.

I can speak from experience and this was an oops from my end once and only once. I somehow managed to change the IP address to an invalid IP address and once it reboot, looked like it work and did everything it should, but would hang upon network association. Needed an RMA number from Nortel as it was new and shipped it back and they sent me a new one. Where did you get the p/s from? And for the record on the 19th I did suggest it might be the p/s, as vad then pointed out.

Nickels, I didn't hear that from anybody, I did see it myself with my owne eyes. I pluged in Pws and lights go on right away and would stay this way all the time. No booting process.

Vad60, Will right that one down. So the lights never go off? Sounds like an easy way to prove the ps.
