PM sent to Bunnie.
Thanks for the replies. I thought it was just plug and play with audio into and out of Norstars. At least keep it all on 600 ohm. A guy can always learn something here.
Update from last night: Tried my own music source for moh. Kept their same equipment for paging. Still had some noisy music as soon as I punched down my source. But no cross with pages.
Next I swapped out the ksu with the customer's old spare cabinet. Moved the software cartridge to the spare. All programming stayed after the restart! Same trouble with music, though. So I thought I might as well put the original ksu back.
This time the programming didn't keep :-( . Thinking I could dodge a bullet, I put the spare cabinet back on the wall again. But this time the programming didn't keep in this cabinet, either. So I spent some quality time re-programming.
Now they're thinking about upgrading. But it won't happen soon enough, I'm sure.
Thanks for your help. Jim
