Here is a good one for ya. I am working on a tvs-100. Old vendor is not to be found. I am working on this now. I can't log into the tvs-100 message manager functions. I can get to the mailbox. I can enter the mess manager mailbox. I can get to the list of functions and when I choose any of them it gives me the promp that "these functions are not allowed from this ext." Is there something I am missing. I did have to reset the password to no password on the m.m. mailbox. The customer did not have any of the info on the system. I did this through my laptop and hyperterminal. Anyone got any thoughts on this.

check COS. Check that there is no external modem or other device plugged in to the Serial port, even though the laptop is logged off, some cables keep the port open, therefore you cant program from phone
interface.

I did check the cos. MB 998 is set to cos 63. I did log off, but did not disc. the cable. I will try this. Thanks,
