Okay so its been a while since i've done a TDA system. In the past I bought my clients the system via a local dealer so he naturally got it all setup for us, and the last time I did a system was about 2 years ago, a TDA100 in my own office.

Well obviously they made some changes and the TDA50G is what they sell now... so I bought that from a local distributor of mine (they sold it to me direct after i gave them my BTS dealer number).... so now i have this here and im not quite sure where to get the TDA50G software. I log into my BTS account but all i see is the unified console stuff and the SD card (5.0) files.... what happened to the maintenance console? Do they not use it anymore??? A little help is appreciated here.

Also, do i need to active the TDA50G to use it like i used to with the TDA100? (the person i bought it from activiated it for me, but in this case, i purchased the TDA50G direct from my distributor this time, not through a panasonic dealer, my distributor is authorized to sell me this product line, just not the TDE)

Your ASM is your Panasonic Sales Rep you would call
him and tell Him that your dealer and tech id won't let you on to reg your system...

Yours is most likely Dave Slowick he is the north east rep!!

So... if you don't have a tech, how could one obtain the unified software?

Your tech ID is four digits. On the panacare site you put your dealer id and your tech id in seperate fields, not one long number. If you have the certs you say you do then you should have dealer & tech id's

All you need is a dealer id and a password to log on to the BTS site. From there you can download software, but the panacare site asks for dealer id & tech id. No techy no washy

Rob, how did this get off topic? Your TA-824 is an unprotected product. I have the MC on my Vista box, so I guess you might be able to run it in compatability mode. I'm pretty sure my craptop talked to an 824. I specifically bought an XP box as my work machine after Vista couldn't run Nortel BCM software and I'm never going to worry about it again.

There are 13 digits that matter to Pana for TDA registration, Dealer ID, Tech ID, and Dealership ID.

Daves name does ring a bell, I think i get automated emails from him, lol. I'll contact him and get it squared away. Yeah no probs using BTS dealer, and i do have the certs, never could access the panacare site as we never had to (we always bought TDA from another dealer, but we became one recently)... soooo i'll go find his contact info and see if he can help me. Thanks for the info.

Hi

I am having problem with my maintanance console. I have the UPMC v7 R1 but cannot connect to the PBX nor open the DMSYS file. The PBX is in a boat and from the states. Is there a US version of the maintenance console? Anyone here can share it to me. many thanks

Please post this question in a new thread. This thread ended back in 2010 so you won't get many answers if it's not seen.

7.2.1.0 US version would work for him. There are two version of 7.2.1.0,one meant for the USA (UPCMCv7.2.1.0)and the other ...

He just has to get the right version.

Even UPCMCv5.1.2.3 US will do.
