I was cleaning the phone and all the sudden there was nothing on the display screen. Couldn't find any buttons, how can I get it back?

Under the display you will find two screws that hold the display on the phone. Take them out then also take the bottom of the phone off and reseat the display ribbon. That should do it. O-yea put the phone back together. I'm assuming that you are talking about a digital phone aren't you? dtmf

If that's not it (what DTMF said) the vol. control will brighten and dim the display when the phone is idle.
