I'm trying to program my companies Digital Key BX and I can't seem to get the system to respond using any cable combination or baud rate I've tried. I've got a db6->rj45 adapter for my cisco gear and I've tried the cisco console cable, a patch cable, and a crossover cable and I get nothing. What's the catch?

Because you have to make the db9 for the telrad side, it's not a typical end. You will also have to have the systems software once you get a end made. There are programming kits that come with the end, SSphone or myself have them

I have the software and a Cat5 crimper... I just don't have a wiring diagram.

You can use a typical patch from your rj45/db9 end to your pc so you don't need a crimper,to make the db9 end you buy them then make them per whatever wire scheme you need.
you have a PM
