a friend of mine gave me his avanti 3025 set. It has the phone line to plug in. My question is, should there be anything else with it- like a power cord or anything like that. When I tried plugging in the phone, I get nothing. No lights or anything. If it is supposed to have a power plug, where does that get plugged in at?

Good friend you have there. I just wonder if the company he just quit is missing a 3025 phone laugh
hitech is right the Telrad 3025 phone has to used on a Telrad Digital system and the software level would need to be Rel7 or above.
On a side note the 3025IP phone will soon be released.
