I have 6 lines on a ctx28. Is there a way to set the incoming ring tones. I would like Line 6 to ring differently than all other lines. Need to distinguish this line from all others.

Although I am not familiar with the CTX28, I have a CTX100. On my system I can change the tone using the WinAdmin software. Find the page where you can assign the keys on the phone and double click on the line you want to change. You should see the setting to change the ring.

You can also do this from an individual phone. Do you have the users guide?

Can you be alittle more specific. For the Ctx28, you use the same winadmin software.

Press your DN key and dial #9876. This puts you in user programming. Then press line 6 and you can change the ring tone. Look in the user guide for details.
