Background: I do IT consulting and my primary expertise is Networking, Wireless and VoIP. Ocassionally I will wire buldings with Data\voice 66\110 blocks and I am familiar with KSU's (concepts and serial based programing).
Long story short I just aquired a DHS-E system with Voicemail and wanted to see if anyone here has any comments about the system and some things I need to lookout for.
Researching and reading up on docs I found that the system will support a CID but I will need to get a 8/port CID box to conect to the serial data port on the KSU. Any recomendations on this and can I use a third party sierial based CID box?
Thanks in advance and nice to see a great board here with lots of good stuff.

see the post above yours... the same equipment should work. If you are puting this in your office it would probably be cheaper and more convient to install a couple of radio shack caller ID boxes before the system.
