My customer needs about a dozen 'virtual' extensions for outside salespeople. These extensions are to be off-net forwarded to cell phones.
I only have 1 spare port on the system. Can I make 12 hotdesk agents, forwarding each to their cell phone?
In other words, do hotdesk agents remain in a forwarded state after you log out?
I bounced this off Vertical and the answer was 'Not sure, try it'. I haven't had time to play around with it and was hoping someone here has done this. Thanks for any input!

Thats a great idea, but I thought you are limited to the number of stations on the system. If you had three hot-desk users, you would need three available stations.... I tried doing this before, but only had about 6 people, so I just used a menu and speed dials.

Create hot desk users then make a physical extension a dummy station. Log into the dummy station as a hotdesk ext. then log back out set to frwd to speed dial bin to frwd off-net.
