Hello everyone, I work in a private company and we use vodavi. The phone was not working)They could hear them but we couldnt be heard) so someone tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Now all of the lights are lit up and we can get half of them to shut off but just pushing a bunch of random buttons down. If any one has a reset code or anything of the sort that would be very help ful

You need a tech to visit on site to fix this problem.

There is a chance that it may just be the phone set itself. Before you call someone, Plug an exact same model phone into the bad one's jack and see if it works. I say the exact same model because you didn't say which Vodavi system you have. There are several and most of them don't like mixing station types.

There are literally dozens of different systems that were marketed by Vodavi. All of the more recent ones use one pair wiring, so a wiring issue generally results in no operation at all.

Some of the older two-pair systems would demonstrate what you are reporting when one of the four wires lost connectivity. This was often due to a failing line cord or jack.

Of course, as others have said, it is always possible that the phone itself has failed, but the only true way to test this is to swap out the phone and line cord to be sure.

Are we discussing a single phone problem? If so then Dave and Ed have the best advice.
