The Encore system made by Executone wants to know the phone type,
It needs to be programmed.

If you have your answer disregard this post.
Otherwise lets see if I remember this.

There is a switch on the ksu that says prog.
move the switch to Prog.
then you need to go to the ext. prog which
starts at 100 for ext 20, then increments in 20s for the next ext. i.e 120 would be ext 21
140 would be ext. 22 160 would be ext.23 etc.
when you get to the ext you want to change go up 1 digit 101 for ext 20 ,121 for ext 21
141 for ext.22, still with me?
Now look at the LEDS.
lED 1 is for a 24 btn phone Led 2 is for a 12 btn phone led 3 is for a 6 btn phone. only 1 of the 3 leds can be on ,indicatting your phone type.
so for a 6 btn. phone Led 3 should be on.
then put the switch back in run mode and plug the phone in.
E-mail me if you still need help.

Do not forget that there is a standard and plus version of this system! They both program differently.

Good Luck!!

If all else fails, use a BFH.

ntcp, I don't know you and may be way off base, but you are not creating a very favorable impression of your business. While I have nothing against making a buck, it would'nt hurt to help a fella out every now and then instead of just plugging your biz.
