Does anyone have any webites for bare-bones PC's that they have good experience with? JDR is one that I have used in the past and was thinking of using again. I haven't made a purchase from them in a few years.

Tiger Direct often has them in their catalog. I would check Newegg as well.

Many school districts used to action off old and used stuff. The more "enlightened" ones have opened up resale stores and sell product that way. Check your area for such stores.

I agree with Tiger Direct. They have a store about an hour from my house. I can spend a lot of time in there.

TD and NewEgg are both excellent; TD has yet a third arm called Infotel, which if you're a reseller (or large scale purchaser) can give you even slightly better pricing (ask for Carla, and tell her Jay from Vici sent you :-).
I have a CompUSA near me, and lemme tell you, when you need a Core2Quad CPU on a Sunday, they're handy...

Tiger has always been my first stop for anything PC. I do some business with New Egg as well. Never had any problems with either one and their prices are good. Tiger also has terms available.

I have bought a fair amount of off-lease equipment from the place below. Not bad if all you need is a cheap used PC (we've used them as thin clients). https://www.hcditrading.com

Dell's gonna lose. I have been to Tiger many times and if an item hasn't been purchased by an end user (and thus taxed and used) Dell has no case. Tiger definitely states when something is refurbished or off lease.
Dell is gonna open up a can of worms if they win. Hell, you could turn around and sue Dell if you bought a laptop and they had a newer one out and claim they sold you a "used" computer.
