I have a customer with a DOS Perfectvoice VM that is dying. The power supply is going out, and it seems that there is HD corruption, because the VM is no longer running properly and it stopped answering calls. I ran scandisk and found some file problems, but so far no bad sectors. Does anyone know this voicemail well enough to help with some ideas for options of where to go from here?

What release is it. I think the dongle on mine reads release 3.1
I am no expert but I do know a little about the
system. The hard drive on mine was failing and I used ghost to successfully transfer my info over to another hard drive.

Do all Perfectvoice DOS VM machines require a dongle? This one didn't have one attached when I picked the machine up from the customer's site.
