I'm going to try and figure out something, to see if it's possible to have a mailbox personal greeting automatically selected based on the day of the week (using same mailbox, but selecting specific personal greeting number). I know I can set it up where the user can have a macro to manually select the day of the week, but I'm wanting to try and automate it.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has done this before, and if they can share the setup details, so I don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Depending on your build of software. I think you would be able to do it using the day/night routing boxes. Using the day of week and the trans.txt feature to play the greating you want. I think you might be able to do it.

You can set the trans.txt to play different greetings. Maybe you would have to edit the diskm.bat file and have copies of Mutiple trans.txt for each day of the week, so when you run your nightly routing (on dos) it would copy over the proper trans.txt file for that day and it would be set to play the greeting for that day, then at night when it ran the routing again it would change the trans.txt to play the next days greeting. I bet I could get this to work on a dos and an interchange machine if anything using different batch files and trans.txt files.
