I am new to this Comdial system and need some help.
I am not familiar with how to set up the system to ring on all extensions (stations) simultaneously from all COs. This system had to be "Cold" restarted because a lighting-strike corrupted teh programming shutting the system down. So now it only rings at the attendant station.
Looking at the programming manual it appears I can do it using the UCD Groups. So I just need some confirmation that the following steps to accomplish this. Using the DET as follows:
1. I assign the Tennant Group (1) for UCD Group by going into DB screen 02-740-13 (for CO# 1). 2. Press CHG for the ring/answer position for day mode and enter 410 (for UCD Group 1). 3. Press SAVE. 4. Repeat for each CO# in system (740-755).
Please confirm my assesment, or correct me if I am wrong.
You have my gratitude. JAC

please complete your profile, America is a big place and phone dweeb is not an occupation. We like to know who we are helping. Welcome to the board. Your on the right track, you should use a higher group like 415 or higher, especially if you have a voicemail board in the system. Mark
