I need to find 24, 2 keystone port, gloss black face plates. Every where I look the black keystone is a flat finish and I want gloss to match the outlet covers. Anyone have some or ideas where to get them?

I looked @ Leviton and ICC, as well as a quick look on the Internet, looks like you have a real problem. Not even a gloss black insert for Decora. Seems something like Krylon Gloss Black paint or clear Acylic spay may be your only out! Maybe one of the phone refurbers can give you a price for painting them, their finishes seem to be pretty tough? I'd suggest one of the brands of firearm paints that Brownells sells since they are REALLY tough, and thin coat. But almost all require a a 300 degree bake. Might work if you used painted SS plates, you could bake them, I suppose. One more thought would be one of the better quality model paints, they have a thin tough finish. Floquil or ... John C

For some reason all the brand that I have found use gloss black for the AC faceplates and satin finish for the datacom. I have found gloss in decora style but cost is also a factor. I think some CGs are behind this wanting to make the faceplates match their equipment.

Merritt, you might want to check with Teledata Express. I got some face plates in black by accident recently and they were gloss, but I sent them back.

Spray Epoxy will shine like a Diamond in a Goats behind, very tough and needs no baking.
