When we came into work, the phone system had apparently had a spike or prolonged power outage. It had gone into a default setting mode. All of the speed dial numbers were gone and the keypad tones also.We can dial out but you don't hear the key tones. I have the ability I think to reprogram the speed dial and I have already reset the day and time.As the other post said the page tone is now very loud. Our installer went out of business. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,

program #22 is key pad tones default is muted 0- to hear 1- to mute see other response about internal page you may want to put a battery back up on your system as next power failure all your programming will be gone again battery that holds it is a solder in inside your cabine so u may want to get a local rep to install a new battery

Thanks for your speedy reply. I tried #22 and it wouldn't let me change anything . It just acknowledged that it was muted. So close.

Ken, I really appreciate your trying to help me.
Can I do what you are trying to help me do with my customer passcode or do I need a tech code?
When I type "#" I get "programming" just like you said, but when I try to enter the passcode it kicks me back to the day/date display. Thanks

I would guess also that your internal battery is either gone or is going. I would suggest geting the battery replaced before you go through the hassle of reprogramming the system. If you do not want to get the battery replaced, then I would put the system on a decent battery back-up. Otherwise, the next time the system loses power, it will just go back to default again and you will be in the same situation. ------------------ Samsung Telephone Repair Toshiba Telephone Repair [This message has been edited by paul144 (edited May 12, 2005).]
