Hal is on the money.

If you look at the proposed Cat 7 (Current European Class F) cable/jack from Siemons it's a 4 pair shielded cable - Each pair individually shielded and an overall shield. The jack is no longer an RJ-45, it looks like a fiber connector - a box with each pair in it's own separate chamber. This was done specifically to reduce the pair to pair and cable to cable x-talk. Cat 6A is trying to jump the gun with a cable/jack that really won't support the speed or application.

I could see it if you installed this in a server room for connectivity from a switch to the servers within the same room. This saves them money on fiber and G/bits and still get higher speeds between the devices. But to the desk top with something that their is not a standard on?? I wouldn't install in here..

That's what I did when we moved our data center. Still using Cat5e to the desktop. I would hate to have to pull 6A to the desktop. *shutters at the thought*
