Who needs a company logo?
Let's use this topic for Company identity, your logo's.

I know we have Ty, known as Cable and others who can create logos which can be posted in here that you can pick from.

My logo sucks I do have an editor but have really got no clue as to what to start with.

Any preference as to what you want it to look like? maybe a link to a similar one?

I definetly could use one,but I would like it to have an "American" flair to it. Sort of like the flag or eagle in it but something that catches your eye.

Hi DJ,
While I appreciate your patriotism, it has been done to death and you will not find yourself standing out.
You need a logo that identifies and represents you and your business.

What's the name of your co.? do you have a website? what does your business do?

If your looking for a logo then It would help us designers if you did the following.

Post a link or picture of / to your current logo.

Ideas of what you want it to look like (colors, designs *patriotic, technological etc etc.* and any thing you may want in there.) And most possibly the most important thing, your company motto *Mcdonalds: "We love to see you smile" Verizon: "It's the network" etc. etc.* As that can give us a lot of good ideas on how to base your logo around that.

Tell us your website link if you have one, Business name and what your business dose. I personally dont want to go digging through your business websites to find info about you, so just make it easy and give it to us in the first place.

I'll start throwing out some of my creations soon.

maybe the name with a light flare or a comet and a planet behind it.

not that we service more the our area but it might look nice

Well all the logos do look good and you are right about it being beat to death but that was the first idea that I had.

The Web address is www.connect1txk.com and its just something I have pieced together.

I am not really interested in grabbing all the traffic from all over the country as its primarily used as a sales tool and location for existing and prospects to get info from.

NEC will not allow us to sell on the web.


I would not mind a pro looking at it and making some suggestions.

The issue you have with your website, is really an identity problem. There is no design or branding at all on your website. There is nothing visually stimulating, to keep visitors on your site, nor is there a "brand" that identifies you as a professional business and service.

I sure someone will get with ya here Jeff.

If your wanting a logo and or some of the other services and one of these guys makes something or does something that you really like, be sure and compensate them for it. And in some cases you mat be asked to pay before they start working on what ever. Some of this stuff takes time and talent.
