I have created a ACD queue. I can log into it fine, and it distributes the callers just fine.

When a caller dials in to the que and needs to wait for a agent they do not receive music, or any announcements.

I can see with the Asterisk Counsel that it is trying to play them, but it does not appear to work.

I have my announce messages in /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en/ They are GSM files.

MOH is in MP3 format /var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3/music MOH works good on regular calls, even the logged in agent gets this when waiting for a call, just not a call caller in the queue.

Any help would be good.

Thanks

Look in queues.conf and see what your musicclass is set to on your queues. This needs to map up to the definitions in musiconhold.conf as well.

Try moving the files from /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en to /var/lib/asterisk/sounds instead. The sub directories are used on non-default languages (english is default by default, heh).

The other option is to set the channel variable 'LANGUAGE' to en, but this requires you to move all your english files to /var/lib/asterisk/sounds/en.

I would just move everything to /var/lib/asterisk/sounds and just worry about the lang directories on non-english stuff.

I have noticed that it works great from callers coming in on the PRI, just does not work from SIP to SIP on the Asterisk system.

Since all my calls for the queue will be comming in that way, I'm Happy.

Thanks
