New customer with IDS & infostar voice mail. Went into voice mail (436) & mbx 5000, tried password 5000, but got "incorrect password" reply. Is there any way to reset the adm. password without reinitializing the system??

Just a reminder, pfonman, please use the PM (private message) utility in case any passwords would have been posted here. Thnaks!

You can take the system off-line and then delete and re-create the admin mailbox. System will generate new password. Mike

OK thanks for the reply, but one more thing, the monitor died, (need a used or recon. monitor, if someone knows where I can get one), so can I do this offline delete thing thru a phone? Tom

Offline/delete is via monitor only. If you have older VX2 w/TTL monitor (two rows of pins on connector) then it may be easier for you to put an ISA VGA video card in voicemail and use a VGA monitor. Mike
