There's absolutely no guarantee that Avaya will come out the winning bidder. Just look at the way Nortel's CDMA wireless unit went. It started out with Nokia-Siemens as the stalking horse, and ended up going much higher, and to Ericcson.

Buy Nortel shares now, before the auction. You could double your money overnight as the auction approaches and word leaks out who the other bidders are.

I really wonder how they are going to be dealing with the stockholders. If the Enterprise is bought by a privately held company, what happens to their Nortel stocks? Are they stuck in what remains of the company?

If they have any value, stock holders will receive something on the dollar. This is what happened when AVAYA was purchased by Private investors.For the most part stock holders are out of thge picture now.
