Dear All,

I work for a company and we have been unable to change our main phone message. The biggest problem is how to do it and which extension or mailbox do we need to do that in.
The person that used to know how to do it has not been with the company in quite a few years.

We have the book but every extention or mailbox we tried did not work. We want to be able to change the night message and the main greeting to reflect we are closed to do snow.

that would probably be a ' CCR ' box, do you have the admin password to the voicemail system?

OR:

It could be a DVA = Digital Voice Announcer, They could be used as an Auto Attendant to answer calls and give options to dial exts,etc.

If you know the managers mail box and password, then you can get this done.
most of mailboxes are set up as 5000, so all you need is the password.
once you are in it, then hit 3, 8, 1# and you will have choices, one to listen and 2 to record, hit 1 and then 1 and see if that is your greeting.
otherwise send me an PM and I will help you overwrite what is there and change the password if you don't know it.

There were only a handful of systems that had any greetings to be changed, so I ' guessed ' and then since the OP didn't say 'thanks'...I probably nailed it on the first post :>)
