I have a good friend that just started selling the X16's. They look like great little systems.

I know the vm has a 2hr record time. Anyone know the message record time limit per mailbox?

i understand these systems do need to have cat 5 cable to work right. the older cable in some homes may not work too well.

I would see where they would need 4 pair wire if the diagrams I saw on the way the ports lay out. Unless there is something different with the phone itself, CAT3 should be fine... Correct me if I am wrong Ed.

four stations per pair,
man that would be nice to have if they could do 16 or 20 on a single pair for those hard to cable residential installs

Thanks,
Daniel
