i am trying to reset a XBlue 45 P. I have tried even to take the VM out and re-install as if it was new. I did the RAM on-off and all the other ways that I know of. ANYBODY got any ideas?

Turn off ram for at least 30 seconds then back on. I'm sure you've resolved by now but just thought I'd add a little input.

Are you trying to reinitialize the VM or the system?

The VM is rather more complex.

Everything is ok now except when the caller presses 0, the mailbox will not take the message. This is true for other Mailboxes as well. I have checked the DND setting and itis off. I have Defaulted the system 2 times. I have Dialed (10) as well as (0), still nothing.

Initializing the 45P system is done using the RAM switch as mentioned. However, the voicemail can only be initialized by connecting to it with Internet Explorer and running the “Initialize all” function found on the lower left side of the main programming page. You can pop the voicemail onto a network or use a crossover cable - the voicemail is located at 192.168.0.220.

At default the “0” mailbox is disabled. It can be enabled remotely in the “Operator Operations” area of programming. Once enabled it should begin working as you describe. However, I understand that the “Dial 0” feature, in some older software versions, may have a problem. I would check with Technical Support.
