Just received NFR MBX system with Edge 8000 IP phone. Went through the Quick Start IP phone registration and cannot get the IP phone to connect. After entering the MAC address the MBX assigns a station number but no IP address. I know I am missing something. Also, what is the password to access the IP phone.

I suspect the 8000 series password is 147* just like the 7xxx series.

Note to my fellow mods: I didn't think posting this particular password is a problem but if anyone has a concern, please nuke it immediately.

Thanks Dave. That was the missing piece.

We attempted to deploy a system with a bunch of Edge 8000 phones back in July. We never got it to work. It was a Vertical bug in the system. Hopefully it has been fixed, but the issue was audio dropping one way on the phones. Are you planning on testing this out? I would be curious to see if this issue is still occuring.

We just have one 8000 phone (NFR kit) and have not really put it through ringer too much. The dozen or so calls that I have made on have been actually very impressive when it came to clarity and volume. Also no echo at all. So no Z-man I have not ran into the issue.... yet
