Since the forum has switched formats, I have been unable to reliably access this forum from my shop computers (I'm submitting this from my home computer/ISP).

I've tried clearing cookies, changing DNS settings in my router, switching browsers and a few other things I've read online. I have a PC and a laptop at the shop, and both exhibit the same symptoms, which leads me to believe this is an ISP/domain issue. My shop has Comcast Broadband while my home has ATT DSL.

Every few weeks I'll go to the forum and can get about 3 ~ 4 pages in, at which time everything slows to a stop, then I receive a "server not found" blank page. Nothing I do, except waiting a few weeks, can get me back in. I can access using a proxy browser, but that doesn't allow me to login with my user name.

Great, thanks. I had my IT guy take a quick look and he doesn't find anything out of the ordinary with my settings. Is Comcast blacklisting this domain (or vice-versa)?

"...Nothing I do, except waiting a few weeks, can get me back in..."

Sounds like my wife, but I won't go there

We had a virus that made browser searches not work. "Favorites" in Mozilla seemed to work, if I remember correctly. This was about the same time as you're talking about. I can't remember the name of the virus---but it was a known entity. My IT tech took several PCs and laptops and re-installed stuff. I'll see if I can get in touch with him to see what he did. What anti-virus are you using? I think we have installed AVG on everything, now.

Hey Danny...not sure what is going on at your end..but I have some of the same problems...I'm running XP Pro and sometimes (like today) when I hit my bookmark for the site I get to the site and it say's " this IP address has been banned from the board" then I click on the link for the main forum and I go right in...I'm using Firefox so not sure what is going on..It's happened before and it will do this for a couple of day's and then be fine.....

...bob...
