Do you think sneakers are involved?

So, you're trying to use the cheapest of the cheap and wonder why it won't work? Try Phone Power. They let you port the business line and provide service for anywhere from $6 to $20 a month, depending on payment and contract.

If the phone number is owned by a ILEC, they fall under rural exemption and don't *have to* port the phone number away. I have a client who is served out of ILEC territory and can't port his business number away.

If they can't port it, can they move it or forward it?
