Hi Folks... Hoping someone can give me some advice. A friend has this TIE system and one "port" is dead (C/O 1 ). He has 4 lines with rollover so I just moved the first line and he's up and running but I had to remove one to do so of course. Looking at this, about all I can figure out is that each port is fused (and all are OK) but beyond that I'm just not up enough on tel equipment anymore to do much. Looks like there's one "motherboard" ... is it likely to be the culprit?

Any suggestions(and a source for parts) would be greatly appreciated!

Paul

thats pretty old stuff but it sounds like the trunk card is bad or maybe there where 4 lines on the main board I haven't seen one of them in years

you could check with the sponsors of the board here or try ebay for parts but keep in mind whatever you get is old too and prone to failure .

I would think a upgrade would be in order

Thanks for that Skip, and of course you're right but I don't think a replacement is in the cards for them right now. Is the trunk card the one that the ports are mounted on?
