How does one go about defaulting the x16 phone sets?
This things been on the shelf for 2 years and the phone sets still have programming in them, extension, names, callerID....
I did default the KSU with the switch but i'm stumped, i thought the phones default after 120 seconds.

If you power down the KSU before unplugging the phones they will retain their memory for a long time, the 120 sec is when you unplug from a hot KSU to move a phone. Resetting via the phone programming should remove everything but the extension number if memory serves me. That could be a big if though. ack

Yes go into Phone setup and reset them.

I did what both of you have suggested, it cleared everything but the extension and CID entries which we found in phone programming.

Not sure how they were initially powered down but they sure lasted a long time, it was definitely the better part of 2 years.

If by extension, you mean the extension number, it cannot be deleted. You have to be on one extension or another.

I think the CID should have been deleted during the resets, but check under the phone's settings.

Brian - You can renew the whole system using the following steps:

That's good info and is on the Dealer site on XBlue. Don't think we want it in the public forums though.
