Have a customer that we installed a MICS (R7.1) w/ a CallPilot a couple of years ago. Everything is working great until they had some kind of power outage late last week. Out of the 25 sets they have, about 8 of them are having display issues with the screens next to the feature keys on the phone. Main display works properly, but the indicator lamp that appears next to each feature key (such as when a line is in use, another extension in use, etc.) do not light up. The keys on the phone do work though.
Unplugged the phone and plugged back in. All lights flash as if it is coming up normally, but did not fix the issue.
Swapped with a known working phone, and the issue persists. If I take the problem phone to a known working station port, it works perfectly fine.
Power cycled the system, and no change.
As far as I can tell, all programming is in tact and everything is working, outside of the display problems.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like those 8 ports are now defective. Move the phones to open DN's and change the DN number to the original.

I agree with Dave - it sounds like bad ports. But try something first.
Take a good phone port and do a copy to the bad port.
Let us know.

I am going to try to go back on site today and see what I can determine. Taking a spare cabinet with me just in case.

Went back on site. Replaced the cabinet and reprogrammed system and all appears to be working normally.
Tried to restore the programming using my RAD and NRU, but the software keeps telling me that the RAD isn't responding, even though I can log into it via a phone. Not sure if this is a related problem or not. Regardless, replacing the cabinet seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks to all who responded.

Was the RAD on a bad port?
I was thinking power surge damage at first but then wondered if software. Do a STARTUP on your bench and see if that fixes the port issues.

I am going to do a startup on the bench once I have some free time to spend on it.
I don't know if the RAD was on a bad port or not. I connected to an available port that has never been used. I could log into it from a phone (F 9**) just fine. Just could not access it via NRU.
