Aloha...
Good news.. I setup an SLC16+ and it works like a charm.
Bad news. I removed a fake card from the cabinet (as listed in Session Manager) to install the SLC16+ card into slot 15.
I'm a dummy news. I didn't check that fake card first. (sigh) and I had Park extensions on that 16-port digital "card."
I've created a new fake 16 port card... and I'm trying to recreate the Park extensions [so that the matching extensions "light up" on the DSS at our front desk.]
Could anyone clue me in? I can create extensions, but trying to place a person on "hold/park" results in "keyset unplugged."
Pointers appreciated. Be kind. I'm already mad at myself for missing a rather important step this weekend.
Thanks.

Update...
Ok.. so it looks like I'm trying to Transfer To Hold... only when we did this before, it was the regular transfer feature code (345).
So... how to make Park x250 not complain about being unplugged, and all calls sent to it automatically go to hold.
Am I getting warmer?

You don't need to create a 'fake card' for park extensions. Go to System\Devices and Feature Codes\Phantom Extensions. Create however many phantoms you need for park extensions. Change the 'Audio for Transer' to music on hold. These phantoms will be in DND by default. To remove DND, do this on any extension: 'Infinity Key', 359, Phantom Ext, #, Phantom Ext, #, 371.
Now program yer DSS keys.

Ok... gave it a shot... but I don't see an option for "audio for transfer." Just "audio for calls camped onto this device - board," "holding for this device - board," and "ringing this device - ringback."
No MOH option is available for those.
Although this does remove the problem with "device unplugged." Begging the question... why did the installer choose to do it by way of a fake digital card? Hm...
Thoughts?
Thanks for your help!

You want the 'ringing this device' setting to be 'board'. This will make it so that transferred calls to this device will not play ringback to the parked caller.
In the 'old days', phantom extensions did not exist so you had to use a fake station board or use real unused single-line ports for park locations.

Ah.. so probably the installer was just going on what they'd learned before. Works for me.
Ok.. I changed the ringback to board.. but calls transferred to that ext still hear the "ringing" instead of MOH.
I'm having a dense day. I'm certain I'm missing something small... like my mind, which I haven't seen since before last weekend.
I really do appreciate all your help with this... if you have any suggestions regarding the missing MOH, that would be fantastic.
Thanks!

Go to System\Devices and Feature Codes\CO Trunk Groups. Make sure all the Trunk Groups have 'Use Next Device's Audio Source' for:
Music-On-Hold Audio on Transfer to Ring Audio on Transfer to Hold Audio on Hold for Transfer Announcement
