When using Attendant Console to change some settings I'm getting the following message:

Please enter your keyset-based database programming password.

I usually just login to session manager but figured i'd use Attendant Console because I can set forwards easily there also.

Now when I get prompted for the password I tried the extension, the password setup by the previous tech and neither work. Is there a default password or is this somethign i can reset in session manager db somewhere?

In DB Studio go to System\Devices and Feature Codes\Endpoints (or Phones)\Extension you are using\Passcode. This is the value Attendant Console is looking for. You can change it to a known value by right-clicking on it.

This was the first thing I checked. It's actually a Phantom that we are trying to set with name and a forward number. I've reset the password but Attendant Console still generates the error. It's strange because we just completed one of our nodes and it never prompted at all. Now this node prompts us and doesn't take any password we give it.

Where is the password prompt appearing? Is it in the connection options screen?

I have to change direction. Password is blank, I didn't try it because the other tech said he did and it failed. I've tested all nodes and now changing properties work simply by clicking okay at the prompt.

However, on 2 of our nodes it fails to forward. We can set properties on all nodes but just clicking ok but when setting the forward via attendant console 2 nodes fail with the message "Failed to set forwrad"

The 2 nodes in question or Inter-tel 5000 system versions 2.3.6 and 1.2.5
