All PBX's digital ports "speak" a proprietary "language". There aren't many (none that I know of) that are universal. Do you know the brand of the PBX that is being used? Without that information, we cannot give you a definitive answer.

Hi
There are two systems - one is a Lucent system, the other a Panasonic.
I will also have to do the same in the near future for a Mitel system.
Cheers

Multitech, Adtran come to mind when an application of this sort is needed.......
I do believe MultiTech has a UK branch..... Their products are more suited for your application......

Thanks for the sugestion. I have had a look at the site and the product that is displayed ins the 'CallFinder' - but this appears to connect with a DID line and presents FXS/FXO lines.
I need to connect to a digital extension and convert it to an analogue signal.

I guess I m having trouble understanding what it is you are trying to do... almost all systems have some type of single line device/card/adapter to create an analogue station port (regular telephone, modem, fax, etc...). ------------------ Business Telephone Repair
