I have a user that occasionally sees "CONFERENCE" on his display. It appears for a few seconds and goes away. Of course this is a feature, and I would expect to see it under two conditions.
1. If the user initiates a Conference.
2. If another user who has a bridged appearance of his extension and pushes that button.
However, I have checked, there are no bridged appearances of his extension anywhere.

He had a 7406+ phone for a while. I changed it to an 8410D. The problem persists. Next I’ll change the port he is connected to.

Poltergiest?

I did 'list usage xxxx' and got nothing unusual. That is, I didn't see any bridged extensions.
Was not aware of the command you suggested.
