I need 2 IP End Point licenses. Can anyone help me? My authorized dealer is on hold with Toshiba and I need these licenses by tomorrow AM.

Wow, dealers are not supposed to do that or get into trouble, and short notice like this I feel for you but I don't know how you are going to get it done without paying a local dealer.
Sometimes that is the only way and it just comes out of your pocket. Sorry for you, we all gotta make a living and sometimes we lose a buck but make it up on another job.

Huh? I'm not following you. Of course I'm going to pay for the licenses. I just can't get them through my local dealer right now.

Licenses are only available from Toshiba Dealers. The serial number of the processor needs to be registered to that dealer.

Ballsie, it wouldn't be too difficult to find another dealer in your area that can provide you with licenses. Go to www.telecom.toshiba.com to find a dealer near you. They don't have to come out to do it. Just provide the serial number to them over the phone. The tricky thing is trying to get the license the same day, but you might find a dealer who can do that.

What if the installing dealer is no longer in business or not responding to the customer? Toshiba is protecting their dealers but screwing the customer.

Maybe we don't understand your situation. You say your "authorized" dealer is on hold with Toshiba. Maybe you are an independent tech and a Toshiba dealer is selling you equipment and licenses for your customer and maybe he owes Toshiba money and they have put him on credit hold.
If that is the case, I think about the only thing you can do is call another local Toshiba dealer, and say there is a customer who wants to buy two end point licenses and you want to do the labor and hope they will retail the licenses with insisting on the labor.
I'm sorry you are in that situation, but sometimes poo does happen and you just have to make the best of it until things straighten themselves out.
I did not mean to indicate that you were trying to get the licenses for free only that you were not a Toshiba dealer and Toshiba tries to make it tough for people like you to do what you do. You have a right to try and they have a right to try to keep only their dealers doing it, its a battlefield out there.

If you are in a rural county with only one dealer within hundreds of miles then yes you are screwed.
