Am I crazy, or is there no way to set up long distance codes on the ESI systems? I'm thinking I may need the carrier to set it up

Are you referring to a PIC code? If so, ARS should be able to accomplish that.

They are looking for a "password" that employee's must use before they can make a long distance phone call

So you need it to work, only for certain extensions?

They want it on all extensions.

Why not just have the forced account codes removed by the carrier?

No forced accnt codes on esi. Like 5years suggested, have their LD carrier require forced accnt codes. This way all calls out of the lata will have the codes on the billing statement. That's a lot easier than printing their own smdr anyway.

You may want to exclude the fax lines.
