Sorry for the long post. We are integrating the sx2000 icp with opera express PMS and the PMS to PBX features are not working like voicemail, housekeeping, wake up calls, etc. They were working two months ago but suddenly stopped.

We've nailed down that the problem is in the PBX somewhere... We verified that the communication is fine all the way from the PMS to the PBX --- but that the PBX is not answering / broadcasting,

Here's what we discovered on my call with the PMS vendor:

1) VMS Interface is working --- getting data back and forth and working fine!

2) PBX interface @ PMS is working w/ loopback @ iPocket connector. To test beyond it... we connected to iPocket and re-booted and are seeing a message from the iPocket saying "Connected to 10.18.1.11 (our PBX). This message does not appear when we connect it to another network (eg: a separate VLAN) and reboot it. To me, that indicates that there is communictions from the iPocket to 10.18.1.11 --- the PBX. So, we have good comms all the way through.

I've gone through the setup doc you sent me on the iPocket and here's the only things I've noted which are different / missing / incorrect: Sorry for the long Email, just want t be as detailed as possible.

1) Voice mail Setup - under form 49 --- protocol is Hilton (is that the same as HIS?)

2) PBX to PMS Setuo - Form 47, Subform 2 DHCP --- I don't see where to make a selection for cln/tunnel. Not clear from the doc what config is supposed to be here... However, when I go to form 47, DHCP, Expand, Range Opts. it looks like there are entries here for the DNS server and the router, but no entries for the iPocket IP addresses. I show 2 entries --- 3-Router, IP Address - 10.18.1.11 - Not sure if that's what's meant for this form / sectoion or now.

FORM 12 configs: Tennant is 2, not 1

DTE is 1: Form 29 has DTE profile filled out

Form 2 - Maid in Room was #3 - I changed it to *55

Under COS for dataset, the following options were disabled; 101, 105, 202, 220, 320 --- I have now enabled them.

Under Form 4:

option 13 (automatic wakeup print) was disabled and I enabled it

Option 108 - Property Management System is disabled. When I try to enable it, it says option 107 (lodging) must be disabled. 107 is enabled. I will try to change this --- but could this be the problem?!?!?

Option 4 (message waiting) was enabled and I disabled it

Option 107: is enabled (see above)....

Form 11 has a few differences --- Both the VMS and PMS interface have the same configs (other than Baud rate) and the VMS is working appropriately with the PMS (and getting COMS as mentioned above).

Here's the features that are different:

Default, Min and Max baud are all 1200

Pooled modem - current is DCD (sheet says DSR)

Break Key function is Trans instead of SYS ATT

PBX Attention character is 4

SO - that's kind of where I've ended up... we know it's something in the PBX --- i've fixed it as you've outlined... but still, no messages are getting from the PBX to me. What would you advise next?
