Mitel Tech, I'm confused as well. What Lightninghorse was attempting to convey is that we can only tell you what to do, but not how to do it. The mindset of this forum is to protect customers from hack service people and to also protect legitimate dealers in the area who may have otherwise been entitled to a few nuggets for a service call.

In most cases, when we see someone who obviously holds the credentials of being a seasoned technician, a moderator will contact you via a private message or e-mail and negotiate private assistance. Sometimes, this assistance is offered for free, but in most cases, a token payment will be expected for the service.

My suggestion would be to send a private message or e-mail to one of the moderators of the particular category if you haven't seen any responses within 24 hours. Of course, if you have a critical situation, there's not going to be any harm done in escalating your question using these means.

Being scolded is something that we strongly avoid, but it happens. When this occurs, please use the 'report post' function of this page so that someone can step in to assist.
