JJ is correct, the lines must be supervised. But as to going dead ? sounds like a problem or something is not configured properly. Check all the config info for your lines, also check your HARDWARE and make sure the cards say what they are. Maybe after all settings are verified then go into Maint and disable them and re-enable them.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?
