All the doctor needs to do is work through his pages and can even tell how long the patient has been waiting by the time stamp.

We've also built a multi slot file folder with a sensor in each slot. When the patient arrives, the nurse pulls the medical records and inserts them into the proper slot. This in turn lights a lamp over the door of that room. The doctors see that someone is waiting in the room-goes to the file folder and removes the medical records-which turns the lamp off.
