The system has lost its activation keycode.

Companion has been discontinued for quite some time. I know of no way to recover the code.

Hey Marv,

I've got a newly upgraded from 4.1 to 7.0 that displays the same message (UTAM code required). This customer does not have Companion,we just upgraded to get the last two fiber ports for digital station additions. The system seems stable. Is this just a bogus message?

Also could you advise me on CP 150.

I am using a telephone to administer the Call Pilot, and need to add the keycodes for more mailboxes. Along with the hidden unpublished F983 codes is there one to obtain the system id of the Call pilot?

If this contains any password info not suitable for publishing would you please advise. I will provide you with my email address for that info.

Thanks,

Duke

I suspect that during your upgrade (proceedure issue) your sys id changed. XC comes with UTAM code and it is installed automatically during initial startup, but it is specific for a sys id. If your sys id changed your UTAM is no longer valid. If your not running companion you have no worries.

CP sys id: dial 44 from the main CP menu.

Marv,

Thank You Very Much!

I assumed that it was o.k. since it cleared and did not pop back up, but I did not know.

Thanks for CP info as well.

Does the 44 code require a password,or is it just the installer password?

Thanks,

Duke
