Here's the scenario, MICS with 3 Norstar door boxes connected. Doing the F9*4 I am able to see the programming on two of the three. The third does not show up anywhere. I have followed the manuals to the T. What is missing however, on the F9*4, then when you press next, it goes to F900, which is active, 901 is unactive, 902 is unactive, the next one that comes up is 907 which shows my second door box. 903-906 do not even appear. I can voice call the door box, just can not get into program the ring to station thru the F9*4 feature. Any ideas, what happened to the 903-906 codes, how do I make them active? Spent a few hours on this already, the port is programmed to specs as the other two are.

1st, have you determined the DN of the door phone that you cannot see the programming?

2nd, have you verified the connections and settings on the controller as well as the rest of the circuit?

yes, I have the dn and can call that doorbox. I did switch ports on the MICS just to see if that would activate the F9*4, it did not, so I moved it back to it's original port and original dn. I can verify everything in Norstar Admin, just can not see it in the F9*4, where it lists the door boxes.

the other two boxes are programmed the same way in admin and they do show up in the F9*4. not sure if that answers your second question.

Have you tried interchanging the Non-visible one with one that does show (frogging)? If so, what happens?

He said he could see the F903-906 on two of the three boxes. That rules out VM marv.

When you do your F9*4, and you come across f9xx's that are inactive, press "remove" to clear them out. Then reboot the ksu to see if your 3rd door phone registers.
I know that there is a limit of 4 door phones on the cics, not sure what the capacity is on the mics but I am sure there is one, especially since you are using the older style doorphones based on the feature #'s you are giving us.

Are these Norstar door phones or BST's?

I stand by my post. Check optional feature codes and remove unused ones. Then reboot system.

Max is 4 Norstar doorphones on CICS and MICS.
