I don't have a lot of experience with the Panasonic Systems but one of my customers has a couple of offices with the DBS 824. I have the manual and was onsite just setting up voice mail for 2 new users, moving an extension for someone who changed offices, adding FF Keys, etc.... I did not even touch this one extension (112), but for some reason is has changed such that when a call comes in on CO Line 7, the call cannot be picked up by any other extension but 112. When other extensions try to answer (the LED's light up on the phones), "Restricted" displays on the LCD and they get a busy/no access signal. I was thinking maybe somehow I fat fingered somewhere and set up a "Private Line" but I cannot figure out how to reverse it. As always, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ,
Rich

To cancel a private line use FF2 (trunk)# 12# (extport)# Conf on/off

Thanks DTMF! - Does that sound like the problem if other extensions are "Restricted" from picking up and accessing the trunk?
Thanks again -

Sure sounds like it, when a private line is assigned to a station it will automaticly give the rest of the station COS 0 for that line. If that isn't it post back and I'll give you the related programs to check.

Thanks again dtmf - I tried cancelling the Private Line as you suggested but this trunk (07) can still only be accessed from a single extension (112), everyone else is "Restricted". Any other programming I can look at? Again, I appreciate your help and suggestions - Thanks,
Rich

Brain fart, I'm sorry, You will have to set the TRS back to 7 for that trunk as it will stay at 0 due to the private line that was programmed. It won't automatically give access to the rest of the sets until you set it back to 7 or whatever you have the rest of them set as. (7 gives them no restrictions)
It would be program FF7 7# for day and FF7 8# for night. Example: FF7 7# (ext/port)# (trunk)# (0-7)#

Thank you very much - I will try that on Monday. I'm assuming I need to do the FF7 7# (ext/port)# ... for each extension/port that cannot access the trunk (all the ext/ports) to return them to no restrictions on trunk 7? Thanks again - Have a great weekend!
