Thanks for the response. I have heard about Arabed, but no one answers the phone or calls back.

I have also been told that arabed will need specific hard drive numbers because they they need to format the drive and "set some bits" in order for the software to work. And also some of the files from the original drive need to be copied to the new drive as well.

I am trying to clone/copy the original drive to a new drive (bit by bit) which works for WindowsNT clones, but for some reason is not working for our Linux clone.
I would expect after the clone operation that the IFM card would see the new drive as if it were the old drive.

Obviously I am still missing a step here.

Can anyone give me a brief overview of what needs to be done with a new drive before it can be installed in the IFM card?
