Not too familiar with the Emerald system..But have you tried resetting the system? Turning the power off...let it sit for approx 15 min. the plug it back in. That will take care of any false data that might have gotten in there from a power bump/spike. If that doesn't do it..I'd have a tech come in and shoot the problem.
