Also wondering the same question. We have a CTX670 and have succesfully been using Exchange 2007/2010 voice mail via Dialogic DMG1008 analog gateways for the last couple years.
We currently have Microsoft Lync server deployed using remote call control (using Estos CallControlGateway) of our Toshiba phones, but we want to start migrating to Lync for full enterprise voice in the next few months, and slowly move over the next year away from the Toshiba entirely.
I am far from a Toshiba expert, so I am trying to figure out if it is technically possible to somehow connect our CTX to Lync and start moving some of our extensions over to Lync while maintaining the ability of calling the Toshiba extensions. If it is possible, what type of cards (RDTU, BPTU, etc) do I need in the Toshiba, and what type of gateway (Dialogic Media gateway 2000 or 4000??) do we need to bridge the gap between the two systems?
We also want to start moving away from the analog phone lines currently connected to the Toshiba for outside calling, towards a digital solution (PRI/SIP trunk, etc). Ideally, I would like to purchase one gateway that will both bridge the gap between the Toshiba and Lync, as well allow us to transition to digital phone lines.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
