I have a customer that has a 8-10 year old Dispatch. Is it Y2K compliant? They call me to change the Date, and I can not get the year proper.

I don't recall a problem with entering the date. There was an issue with messages being erased (or something like that) that required a patch after Y2K. Sorry I can't remember, it's been a few years.
Are you entering the year as 4 didgits? Are you programming from a phone or a laptop?

Programming from a phone remotely. Then system resets, as usual.

We will need to know what the software level is. If it's below 1.77A, then yes, there was an issue with Y2K. Fortunately, it can be updated.

The version that will bring you up to post-Y2K is 1.77A. There may be later releases, but this one is fine.

It's just a patch. It's not a dealer-only product so you should be able to get Vodavi to e-mail it to you along with instructions.
