I have Intramail DS1000. Currently, I have employees that are out of the state. I have a Dial Action Table set up for these employees (press 1 for XXX, etc.) that does a hook-line transfer to a speed dial number.
However, I would like to set up an extension for someone, and have that extension actually just transfer to an external number.
I have tried to set up a mailbox that is tied into a Call Routing Mailbox. The Call Routing Mailbox refers to a Dial Action Table that has a Timeout function that transfers to this external number.
It seems like it should work, but it doesn't. I'm somewhat capable on these phones, but only in layman's terms. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
